INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION : SEMI-FINALIST, BEGINNER DIVISION

This project is a financial education app designed for children aged 8 to 15. It allows parents to assign paid tasks, helping kids understand the value of earning. Children can track their income, savings and spending through a simple interface and use a virtual debit card for payment. The app also features a barcode scanner and an AI to get advice on health and cost, promoting smarter spending habits. The goal is to make financial literacy fun, practical and age-appropriate.

INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION : SEMI-FINALIST, BEGINNER DIVISION

This project helps people learn about the food they eat and its nutritional value in a simple way. It does more than just show nutrition facts—it explains how food affects health. For example, if a parent is unsure whether a hamburger is healthy for their child, they can scan it with their phone and quickly get clear information. The app works on phones, tablets, and other mobile devices, making it easy to use anywhere. In conclusion, by providing fast and simple nutrition details, this tool helps people make better food choices and understand how their diet impacts their overall health.

BEGINNER DIVISION

NoGasp-IApp tackles household food waste by turning photos of items available in the fridge into creative and tasty recipes. With a single image captured through the app, it uses artificial intelligence to suggest personalized recipes based on available ingredients, number of people, type of meal, dietary restrictions, and allergies. Despite its advanced technology, it offers a simple and intuitive experience for all user profiles. The app also suggests where to buy missing ingredients and allows users to save favorite recipes, building a personal cookbook over time. This way, users avoid unnecessary purchases, save money, and develop new cooking skills sustainably.

Study With The Queens App

BEGINNER DIVISION

We created an application that will allow elementary school students to easily study for all their classes at home and have fun doing it. All they need is access to a mobile device with the internet . Students will enter their language, grade and which class they are studying for. They will receive a multiple choice question and receive points for right answers and lose points for wrong answers. After they answer, they will receive an explanation for the correct answer.

We created a game to make picking up trash near water fun: Clean Happy Water is a mobile app that allows you to challenge your friends to pick up the most trash during a set time. BEGINNER DIVISION

Zero Conflict is a mobile application that allows children aged 8 to 12 to learn how to solve interpersonal conflicts. Through a step-by-step process, users learn how to effectively identify and de-escalate conflicts. Every conflict solved is recorded in the app so that users can keep track and feel accomplished. There is also a section with general advice to help users manage their emotions more effectively when involved in a conflict. Finally, users can save personal notes so that they can record their feelings and thoughts regarding particular conflicts and learn from them.

Our project is called Ecologic, with the brand name “Mon Assiette, Ma Planète”. It is a easy-to-use mobile app to help young people make healthier and more eco-friendly food choices. By taking a photo of their meal, users receive an instant analysis of its nutritional balance and carbon footprint. The app offers personalized advice to improve the meal and encourages sustainable eating habits. Built with MIT App Inventor and powered by AI (Teachable Machine), our solution is fun, educational, and impactful. It empowers everyone to care for their health and for the planet—one plate at a time.

Our project is an application that helps users make their daily lives easier by helping them in the kitchen. This application is aimed at people with allergies, intolerances, and/or dietary restrictions. When these individuals search for recipes, they often spend a lot of their time looking for recipes that respect their dietary restrictions. This app will save them time by allowing users to choose a recipe they like but doesn't necessarily respect their dietary restrictions and our application provides the user with substitutions to replace ingredients that do not meet their restrictions.

REGIONAL COMPETITION : SECOND PLACE

Air pollution is a significant issue affecting communities worldwide, with serious health consequences. It is responsible for over 7 million premature deaths globally every year as a result of vehicle emissions. Code Divers presents to you Breathe Buddies, a mobile application that allows students to be exposed to the topics of air pollution through a world of gamification with easy-to-take actions alongside friends and families to boost comprehension and excel in weekly leaderboards. Through weekly quizzes and badges, users can uncover the world of air pollution in an interactive, kid-friendly manner, available inclusively in this app alone.

After several research we realized a lot of adolescents were missing self-gouvernance when it comes to good habits. Their relation with their health and medical aspects are either not good or not existing. As part of people who also aren’t really good with the whole side of health, we thought an app would help a lot of teenagers. To resolve this problem we decided to create Aquazen, an easy, entertaining and dynamic app. Not only is it simple but it also sorts your medical data and tracks your tendencies. Our app is about creating a story game and a tic-tac-toe game for kids and teens to raise awareness about water scarcity and gender inequality. Players make choices in 2 different storylines based on real struggles in developing countries in continents like Asia, Africa, and South America. . The main story is inspired by Salva’s struggle to survive without water, but it follows a female social worker who faces sexisme while working in a refugee camp. Our game shows how water and gender issues are connected.

Language barriers cause severe mental health problems (like depression, anxiety, isolation and increased stress), financial issues (since most jobs require you to speak one of their languages) and more. To solve this problem, we created a language learning app for immigrants called SimuLessons, which contains simulations of real-life scenarios with AI-powered feedback so our users can make the most of their time by learning what to do and say during specific situations while also enhancing their language skills.

ClassRise is an adaptive math app for young learners that’s built to support kids with learning differences like dyslexia and dyscalculia. Based on the responses to a quick questionnaire, users receive either visual emoji-based for dyslexic and dyscalculia learners or number-based equations for those who don’t. ClassRise helps every learner by congratulating them at the end of every question. However, if they get a question wrong, the website will show the explanation for the question to understand. This is MediTech. We are a team of young sisters breaking the code of language barriers with our app!! We made this for Hispanic people that don't speak English or french. For example, our grandpa he has leukemia so every time he comes to Canada, we get nervous thinking what might happen since my parents only speak english and we are in Québec which is more french than english so we made this to prevent any misunderstanding from arising in the my grandpa’s medical file which is why we did this. Our app has 2 special features.

Primary and secondary schools in Quebec are experiencing a shortage of teachers and especially substitute teachers, resulting from lack of communication between schools and potential subs. Consequently, existing teachers need to take on more responsibilities, causing them to burn out and quit, thus repeating the cycle. This leads to an unstable learning environments for students, which disrupts their academic progress.Our application EduComm will allow schools to easily find substitute teachers and open up communication networks between them in order to end the teacher shortage in Quebec, thus reducing the pressure on current teachers and ensuring high-quality education for students.

Pacifier is a mobile app designed to support new mothers during the postpartum period by helping them track their baby’s routines and access both emotional and medical guidance. In response to the widespread lack of accessible postpartum care, the app offers a sleep and feeding tracker, a chat page with certified midwives, and a curated library of maternal health resources. By reducing the mental load and improving access to professional support, Pacifier aims to combat postpartum depression and empower mothers with the tools they need to care for themselves as they care for their babies.

SENIOR DIVISION

After learning that mental health issues are affecting 1.2 million Canadian youth and are rising among students aged 10 to 18 in Montreal, Quebec, we decided to take action. By targeting SDG 3, Good Health and Well-being, our mobile app MeTime is designed to help teenagers with their mental health through self-expression in the most comfortable way. They can write, draw, play mini-games, talk with professionals, and see their progression. Unified Bliss supports teenagers with their stress and anxiety management through self-expression, access to resources, physical well-being, and community support.

NeuroNest is an AI-powered mobile app designed to assist individuals living with Alzheimer's disease and their caregivers. The app offers adaptive voice reminders for medication and emotional memory reinforcement through personalized photo-based exercises. It paired with a Smart Medical Box that uses Bluetooth lid-detection to confirm medication intake. If a dose is missed, the system escalates reminders from voice prompts to personalized videos and finally emergency contact alerts via message or phone call. By combining technology with empathy, NeuroNest empowers users to maintain independence and emotional connections while prioritizes real-time support and caregiver relief.
